Abstract
This research project aims to understand how synergies can be nurtured between higher education arts teaching and teachers¡¯ own creative practice. It uses a mixture of methods to generate both an overview of staff activity and in-depth explication of their lived experience on the interface of the arts and academia. Liam Bell's contribution is a sequence of three framed poems titled 'Ebb and Flow' which were printed on the Pathfoot Press at Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV. The artworks produced in the project are being exhibited around Scotland: Moray School of Art, Elgin ¨C 21-28 January 2022 Taigh Chearsabhagh, Lochmaddy ¨C 5- 26 February 2022 Rockfield Centre, Oban ¨C 7-21 March 2022 Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV University ¨C 28 March ¨C August 2022 Inverness, venue TBC ¨C September 2022
