About me

I am a Lecturer in Economics at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV.

My research interests span applied microeconomics and econometrics, particularly issues involving discrimination.

My current research focuses on discriminatory policing practices and other aspects of the economics of crime. I am also working on an empirical paper estimating regional differences in the degree of meritocracy in the US, and one looking at gender and risk-taking in elite-level sailing.

I have a Masters in Landscape Architecture and enjoy applying economic theory and practice to issues surrounding place, community, and spatial interactions.

Current students can book a meeting with me at my booking page:

Economics of Crime, Economics of Discrimination, Inequality and Intergenerational Mobility, Agricultural Economics, Environmental Economics, Urban Economics, Economics of Sport
