About me
I first joined the Law School at Â鶹´«Ã½AV in 2021 and since then have enjoyed teaching on a range of modules across the law and social-sciences faculties.
Prior to coming to Â鶹´«Ã½AV I mainly worked in non-profit and third or voluntary sector legal and research roles in Scotland and overseas. I also completed a research internship with the Scottish Government Justice Analytical Service.
I completed my LLB in Scots Law at the University of Edinburgh (2017), my LLM in International Criminal Justice and Human Rights at the University of Dundee (2018) and my PhD in criminology at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV.
My research interests include international, transnational and national criminal law, international public law, human rights, global governance and security, and the interaction between policy and law.
My recent research has focused on human trafficking, policing, and civil liability for criminal wrongs.
I am passionate about access and development in further and higher education including research in learning and teaching.
